SSG veteran Choo Shin-soo (40) has rejoined the squad after being sent to the second team.

Choo Shin-soo was added to the first team roster ahead of the match against Lotte at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on Nov. 16.

He was also named to the starting lineup. As the No. 1 designated hitter, he took on the role of an offensive sparkplug.

Earlier, Choo Shin-soo said he wanted to give himself time to improve in the second team after his performance was hampered by a sore right ankle.

“I feel uncomfortable when I swing. It’s hard to run the bases normally,” and “If you look at me coldly, I’m not helping the team right now.” He was dropped from the first team roster the next day.

He had previously batted .202 with three home runs and 67 RBIs in 37 games with the first team.

After being sent down to the second team, he appeared in three Futures League games. In three games, he went 2-for-8 with two doubles, one home run, one RBI, and a .250 batting average.토토사이트

SSG’s lineup for the game was Choo Shin-soo (designated hitter), Choi Ji-hoon (center field), Choi Jeong (third base), Guillermo Heredia (left field), Choi Jun-hwan (second base), Park Sung-han (shortstop), Jeonsan (first base), Oh Tae-gon (right field), and Kim Min-sik (catcher).

SSG lost 3-7 to KT the day before, dropping them to first place to LG, who beat Samsung the same day. SSG is looking to take the lead again. All eyes will be on the role of top hitter Choo Shin-soo.
