‘Kwak Bin QS & Jeong Soo-bin return with 3 hits’ Doosan snaps 2-game losing streak as Yoon Young-chul QS beats KIA

The Doosan Bears snapped their losing streak.

Doosan won 3-2 at home against the KIA Tigers at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Nov. 11. With the win, Doosan snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 28 wins (1 tie, 26 losses) on the season. KIA had its two-game winning streak halted and suffered its 28th loss of the season (25 wins).

Doosan’s starting lineup was Jung Soo-bin (center field), Kim Dae-kim (right field), Yang Ji (catcher), Yang Seok-hwan (designated hitter), Kim Jae-hwan (left field), Park Kye-beom (third base), Kang Seung-ho (first base), Kim Jae-ho (shortstop), and Lee Yoo-chan (second base). Kwak Bin was the starting pitcher.

KIA’s starting lineup was Ryu Ji-hyuk (third base), Ko Jong-wook (left field), Socrates (center field), Choi Hyung-woo (designated hitter), Kim Sun-bin (second base), Lee Woo-sung (right field), Byun Woo-hyuk (first base), Shin Beom-soo (catcher), and Park Chan-ho (shortstop). ‘Rookie’ Yoon Young-chul got the start.

Kwak Bin, who was rested due to “back pain,” pitched a scoreless fourth inning. He gave up a run in the fifth, but was able to hold on until the sixth inning, giving up two runs in six innings. Kwak earned his fourth win of the season (2-2).

Yoon Young-cheol was shaky, giving up back-to-back hits in the first inning, but recorded his third career quality start (6+ innings, 3 earned runs or less). He did not receive any offensive help from his teammates and suffered his third loss of the season.

Doosan got on the board first. Jung Soo-bin led off with a single, and Kim Dae-hyun followed with a single to put runners on first and third. Yang then followed with a sacrifice fly to center field for a 1-0 lead.

In the fourth inning, Doosan added another run. Leadoff hitter Park Kye-beom drew a walk, followed by Kang Seung-ho’s RBI triple. Kim Jae-ho then struck out, but Lee Yoo-chan’s grounder to shortstop allowed Kang Seung-ho to come home to make it 3-0.토토사이트

In the top of the fifth inning, KIA fought back. One out later, Kim Sun-bin drew a walk. Lee Woo-sung struck out, but Byun Woo-hyuk singled and Shin Bum-soo walked to load the bases for Park Chan-ho’s RBI double.

Doosan missed a golden opportunity in the bottom of the sixth. Park Kye-beom led off with a double, and Kang Seung-ho walked. Kim Jae-ho tried a squeeze bunt, but Park Kye-beom was caught in a rundown. Kim Jae-ho, who was trying to advance, was caught at second base to end the inning.

Even though there was a cold streak, there were smiles on the faces of the pitching staff. After Kwak Bin’s six innings, Lee Young-ha pitched two scoreless innings. In the top of the ninth, Hong Gun-hee pitched a scoreless inning to earn her 14th save of the season.
