Kim Joo-hyung, 13th in men’s golf world rankings… personal best ranking

Kim Joo-hyung has risen to 13th in the men’s golf world rankings.

The 13th place is Joohyung Kim’s personal best ranking.

Kim Joo-hyung rose to the world rankings by tying for 6th at the American Professional Golf PGA Tour American Express, which ended today in La Quinta, California.

Spain’s Jon Rahm, who won the American Express, moved up one place from fourth to third.

Four Korean players were listed in the top 40, including Lim Seong-jae at 19th, Lee Kyung-hoon at 36th, and Kim Si-woo at 40th.

Victor Perez, who won the DP World Tour Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, jumped from 111th to 63rd.

Henrik Stenson, who moved to the Saudi Arabia-funded LIV Series, climbed the world rankings from 205th to 190th with a tie for 20th at the DP World Tour Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

World ranking points are not at stake in the LIV Series competitions, which started last year.

Players belonging to the LIV series are banned from participating in PGA Tour events, and world ranking points can only be earned through DP World Tour or Asian Tour events, the former European Tour.
