‘Goodbye Hernandez’ Thomas left Russia, KBL comeback after 12 years… DB line

Malcolm Thomas returns to KBL after 12 years.

Wonju DB recruited Thomas as a new foreign player instead of Dewan Hernandez, who played an active role as the main foreign player in the 2022-23 season.

Thomas is a welcome face who played an active part as a foreign player for Ulsan Mobis in the 2011-12 season, 12 years ago. When he was a free agent, Thomas headed straight to Mobis after graduating from college and played 17 games, averaging 20.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.8 blocks.

Thomas had no question marks about his personal skills, but as it was his first professional stage, he failed to adjust his pace. Mobis, who had only one foreign player and had Ham Ji-hoon as a managing director, could not last long with Thomas, who had physical problems and made many mistakes in the 4th quarter. Eventually he was replaced by Terrence Leder.

Thomas, who left Korea, built a career in various stages such as the G-League, NBA, and Europe. He most recently played for BC Samara in the Russian VTB United League and averaged 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 13 appearances. 먹튀검증

Although Thomas is now an old man, he is still very good at scoring. He doesn’t cover my perimeter, and in Asia he has the skills to expect 20+ points per game. In addition, as Kang Sang-jae and Kim Jong-gyu are holding on, and there are sub-foreign players who can compensate for physical problems, the conditions are much better than 12 years ago.

Thomas’ official appearance is possible after player registration is completed.

Meanwhile, Hernandez, who was considered to be a top foreign player in the KBL, played 28 games and averaged 20 minutes and 21 seconds with 14.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists. His offensive power ruined his first season in Korea with only extreme ups and downs that made his reputation as the best in KBL overshadowed.
