As a result of KBO’s baseball center recruitment announcement to expand the baseball base, three local governments were selected: Boeun-gun, Busan Gijang-gun, and Gangwon Hoengseong-gun.

The military met the qualifications for baseball center support by possessing two baseball fields, an indoor baseball practice field, and a training facility dedicated to players.

In the future, the county plans to invest 12.3 billion won to build a multi-purpose sports field by 2024 and secure an additional multi-purpose stadium.
